CLIENT FAMILIARISATION VISIT

Once contracts have been exchanged and prior to the handover of your property, you will be invited to a ‘familiarisation’ meeting at your new home. This is an opportunity for a tour of the property and demonstration of appliances, such as the heating and hot water system and where to find your stop taps etc. This will be your opportunity to inspect finishes, including sanitaryware, kitchen, glass, floor coverings, general decoration, and externals. We hope you enjoy this exciting moment and ask any questions that you may have.

Congratulations – the big day has arrived! Upon completion, once solicitors have informed us that funds have cleared, a team member will meet you at your new home to formally hand over your keys, take meter readings and complete any moving day checks. You will be provided with a ‘Homebuyer Pack’, which will provide key information on your new home for you to refer to when queries arise. The pack includes further information on our Customer Care team and After Care service.

We will call round the following day, after the handover, to ensure you are settling in well and to answer any questions that may have cropped up. Needless to say, we are available for any emergency issues or queries you may have in the early days. We will then arrange a 3-month maintenance inspection giving you the opportunity to report anything that may need rectifying or to ask any further questions you may have.
