Finningham is a classic Suffolk village that combines rural living alongside a vibrant social community and is conveniently located for accessing the surrounding villages and towns. The village has maintained a strong sense of community and includes a village pub (The White Horse) and a village church.
Finningham is situated under 2 miles from Bacton & Gislingham, which between them have well stocked village stores for everyday shopping facilities, schooling and doctors surgery.
The market town of Stowmarket is approximately 8 miles away and has a wider range of everyday facilities and amenities, including a main line rail link to London’s Liverpool Street station (journey time approx. 80 minutes). Stowmarket is bypassed by the A14 which provides good links to the east to the county town of Ipswich where it joins the A12 to London. To the west, the A14 takes you through to the cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and ultimately The Midlands.
